Don’t just see a physical therapist, see a doctor of physical therapy in Boca Raton
Ben Galin, DPT, OCS
Dr. Ben, as we affectionally call him, has been practicing since 2001. His central focus is in sports medicine, spinal conditions, arthritis, post-surgical rehab, and other orthopedic conditions. Dr. Ben received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University, and went on to receive both his Masters and Doctor of PT from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Ben stays engaged with the newest methods and research, and even teaches physical therapy courses to other therapists in Florida.
Dr. Ben is one of the very few Floridian physical therapists who have practiced for over 15 years, have a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and also has his Board Specialty Certification in Orthopedics. Less than 1% of all Florida PTs have these advanced metrics. Dr. Ben has taken countless courses in orthopedics, manual therapy, and sports rehab, and brings a variety of techniques to his patients.
Dr. Ben does not believe in a “no-pain no-gain” philosophy, but instead believes in promoting healing through proper engagement of affected areas and teaching the nervous system how to re-incorporate proper use of an injured area without triggering pain responses. He prefers to work hands-on, one to one with patients. He does not like to use big exercise machines, but rather favors functional body movements to rehabilitate injuries.
When Dr. Ben is not at the clinic, he is enjoying time with his 2 children and wife in his neighborhood in Western Boynton Beach. Being from New England, Ben stays on top of the Boston sports teams, and can be caught wearing his Red Sox tie from time to time.
So if you are in need of physical therapy in Boca Raton, come see Dr. Ben Galin for an outstanding experience!

Here Are Some Commonly Asked Questions About Our Customized Physical Therapy Offerings:
Q. Who provides physical therapy?
A. Physical therapy is provided by a doctor of physical therapy. Should you have a variety of health concerns such as sports medicine, spinal conditions, arthritis, post-surgical rehab, and other orthopedic conditions, it may be beneficial to consult a doctor with a trained physical therapy staff to learn more about the array of natural, non-invasive services that could be used during your course of treatment.
Q. Is a prescription necessary for physical therapy?
A. While a prescription from your primary care physician isn’t necessary to seek physical therapy, you may wish to obtain one in order for it to be covered by your health insurance. Many insurance providers need a prescription before they’ll reimburse you for an appointment.
Q. What should I wear to my physical therapy appointment?
A. Due to the nature of physical therapy exercises and stretches, loose-fitting clothing is recommended to allow for your full range of comfortable movement. This will allow us to easily access your injured area(s). Should you need to change clothes at our facility, we recommend you arrive a little early.
Q. How long are physical therapy appointments?
A. Physical therapy appointments can vary, from a few hours to less than an hour. We try to make it as convenient as possible for you, so as not to disrupt your daily routine.
