Dr. Michael Ritter has been practicing Acupuncture for over five years and has treated hundreds of patients suffering from many different ailments.  As an Acupuncture Physician he is licensed by the Florida Board of Acupuncture and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

 Who Can Benefit from Acupuncture?

Dr. Ritter uses Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to diagnose and treat many imbalances in the body.  This is done by careful observation of various patient characteristics such as artery pulses, skin tone and color, nail beds, tongue color and appearance.  Doctors of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine have helped millions of people around the world become pain-free.  Not only that but it is also used to maintain health and wellness.

Acupuncture has been around for over 4000 years yet many people think of Acupuncture as something new.  Traditional Chinese Medicine involves the ancient philosophy that Qi (pronounced “chee”) or Life Energy flows throughout the body along specific pathways called meridians.  Physical and emotional trauma, lack of exercise, stress, overexertion, seasonal changes, poor diet, accidents, or excessive activity are among the many things that can influence the quality, quantity and balance of Qi.  Dr. Ritter will help you find your imbalance and through the use of painless needle insertion, eliminate pain and restore balance and harmony leading to optimal health.

Dr. Ritter uses acupuncture to promote “natural healing”.  Acupuncture can enhance the body’s natural recuperative power and immunity, support physical and emotional health, and improve overall function and well being.  It is a safe, painless and effective way to treat a wide variety of health conditions.

Acupuncture is recognized by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the World Health Organization as effective in treating these conditions:

Addiction, Anxiety, Arthritis, Asthma, Bronchitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Colitis, Common Cold, Constipation, Depression, Diarrhea, Dizziness, Emotional Problems, Fertility, Fibromyalgia, Headache, Hiccough, Incontinence, Indigestion, Irritable bowel, Low Back  Pain, Menopause, Migraine, Nausea, PMS, Sciatica, Shoulder pain, Sinusitis, Sleep disturbances, Sore throat, Stress, Tennis elbow, Trigeminal neuralgia, Urinary tract infections, Vomiting, Wrist pain.
